Thanksgiving Centerpiece

Would you like an idea for an inexpensive, but beautiful, centerpiece for your Thanksgiving and/or Christmas table? I use a chip and dip tray because it allows me to have two levels, but you can also use a plain Pyrex pie dish or something similar that is flat and low.

Place enough water in your dish to float one package of fresh cranberries. Add to the cranberries five or six small motive candles. You can also add pretty white flowers, such as wonderful aromatic gardenias, or white roses. At Christmastime you can add small colorful Christmas bulbs. When you get ready to sit down to your Thanksgiving meal, light the candles and the warmth of the candles, and the warmth of your family and friends around your table, will add a special glow to your atmosphere.

"Light is shed upon the righteous and joy on the upright in heart. Rejoice in the Lord, you who are righteous, and praise His holy name." Psalm 97:11,12

Continue to enjoy your Thanksgiving preparations!
Sandy
